Ann-Marie Alves, VP & Design Consultant
A true left and right brain thinker, Ann-Marie studied Accounting at UMass Dartmouth and also spent 5 years learning the art of graphic design. She co-founded Design Principles Inc, a print and internet design firm, and left to become the webmaster at Cambridge SoundWorks. While there, she developed the skills of managing both technical employees and businesspeople. Her job often required that she distill language and information in a way that is easy to understand by both parties, in an effort to accomplish the goals of the business. An early employee of Business Floors, she has used her dual focuses to build our internal processes, implement our warehouse management system, build our brand and design our customers’ projects. She enjoys diving into technical product details and designing custom medallions, equally and without reservation.
